October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month

Hello Beyond Naptural Family. October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month.  We urge everyone to get tested...Kings and Queens. Yes, Kings, too... Although it is rare, if you experience symptoms, please get the examination. Fore information, please see the first link below.

Per cancer.org, "Breast cancer is the most common cancer in American women, except for skin cancers. Currently, the average risk of a woman in the United States developing breast cancer sometime in her life is about 13%. This means there is a 1 in 8 chance she will develop breast cancer. This also means there is a 7 in 8 chance she will never have the disease."

I had my first mammogram last year and it was actually quite quick.  I remember hearing the stories from female family members and friends about how painful it used to be.  Thankfully, technology has really evolved and has made this test faster with only a little discomfort which was my experience.
